GL20 series allows the construction of packages consisting of a communication adapter and input/output (I/O) modules, freely chosen according to the customer’s needs. Available communication adapters allow machine/object input and output data to be exchanged with any host device with an EtherCAT or ProfiNet host communication port.
The GL20 series is a high performance remote terminal control system, which realizes remote monitoring and data acquisition of equipment through real-time reliable industrial ethernet bus. The compact design ensures more I / O interfaces for smaller product volumes; the plug type and extractable structure allow users to more efficiently complete module assembly or replacement tasks without any tools, removable terminal design allows users to maintain without rewiring, greatly saving installation and maintenance time.

In turn, to increase the number of inputs/outputs in Inovance Easy series, AM3xx and AM5xx PLC controllers, simply connect any available GL20 expansion modules to their right side, without the need to use a communication adapter. Expansion of inputs/outputs in the EASY PLC series controller and AM3xx and AM5xx “side by side”:

Thanks to their compact design, the GL20 series IO modules take up less space in the cabinet, and their design allows for easy and quick installation on a DIN rail.

The use of spring terminals reduces control system wiring time.

The removable terminal strip in the form of a plug allows for quick replacement of the module without the need to disconnect the cables.

IO in the design are synchronized with physical IO (with an execution cycle of over 500 microseconds)

Clear, color-coded module markings allow the user to recognize what type of IO they are dealing with. Each module also has LED indicators of signal status (activity).

The module connection pins are placed INSIDE the sockets to prevent users from touching the signal connector. Gold-plated contacts prevent corrosion.

USB Type-C connector for updating communication module firmware and dual-row (A&B) 24VDC power connector facilitates the distribution of voltage signals between system components:
