Easy is a series of compact PLC controllers for use in industrial automation. The manufacturer’s goal is to effectively use the capabilities of the controller while reducing its installation costs.

Description

Easy series PLC – from Easy 300 to Easy 500!

Easy series PLC controllers is designed to be optimally adapted to almost any application – from simple control of individual machines to complex control systems of technological lines. For industrial lines that require full automation, we choose a controller with advanced features, such as the Easy 500, and then expand it with additional GL20 I/O modules. Thanks to the EtherCAT communication interface, we create a distributed system with the possibility of real-time synchronization of many drive axes.

Advantages of Easy series PLC

  • The advantage of Easy is its modular “slim” design and communication properties, thanks to which the user has at their disposal a scalable control system that can also be easily expanded in the future.  
  • This device can be easily integrated with many automation components, including sensors, inverters, servo drives, and other controllers.
  • It supports communication protocols: EtherCAT, Modbus RTU/TCP, CANopen or Ethernet/IP, which, as mentioned, provides wide possibilities for integration with automation systems. The device ensures fast and effective data processing, enabling smooth operation of industrial processes and quick response to changing machine operating conditions.
  • In addition to high efficiency and functionality, the whole thing has been enclosed in an extremely compact housing.
  • Difficult temperature conditions do not prevent the Easy controllers from being used indoors or outdoors. The manufacturer has made them so that they can operate in a wide temperature range from -20°C to 55°C.

Overview of models

The Easy PLC series enables simple drive control using pulse signals, and for complex motion control applications using EtherCAT and Ethernet/IP ports.

Example control system architecture for individual EASY series PLC models:
  • Easy302 – flexible architecture using CANopen communication and/or pulses to control drives.
  • Easy320 – multi-protocol architecture using Ethernet/IP, CANopen and/or pulse communication for drive control, as well as Modbus TCP with HMI touch panels.
  • Easy521 – complex and powerful motion control architecture using real-time EtherCAT and Ethernet/IP communications for drive control, and Modbus TCP with HMI touch panels.

GE20 expansion modules

Easy302, Easy320, Easy521 controllers are equipped with 2 slots, thanks to which the controller functionality can be expanded with additional inputs/outputs and/or communication ports.
